Here's what you missed...

It's been a bit of a crazy week for me and unfortunately blogging has fallen to the wayside. I've missed my blog and my readers! So, let's get caught up!

Paul and I have spent a lot of time this week hammering out wedding plans. We plan to get married next May and we haven't booked a space for the reception yet. My mom is freaking out a bit and keeps reminding us that places book up fast but it just seems so hard to get it all together. We have decided to be a bit "lazy" and book it at a hotel so that the catering and even some of the decorating will be taken care of for us. As an additional bonus we will be able to have the Bridal Suite for our wedding night and Paul's family from out of town will be able to book their rooms in the same place as the reception. We're meeting with them next week so hopefully nothing will go wrong with that plan!

We've also been trying to figure out how to work our colors together. Paul wants blue and I want some green in there. We're thinking of dressing the bridesmaids in cornflower blue with a light green (pistachio) sash or ribbons on the flowers and then the groomsmen will have green vests and ties under their black tuxes with a touch of blue in the boutineer. I started reading about it on forums and apparently that's the trendy thing to do... never thought of myself as trendy!

The guy is not wearing the exact right color of green but it's pretty close. What do you think? I'd love to hear other's opinions!

In other news, I had my first Barefoot Books party on Thursday. I did a joint party with a friend of mine who sells Scentsy and we had a good time setting up together and talking business before the guests arrived. It was a lot of fun to share the books with friends and family! I was happy that I was able to help my friend meet her quota with Scentsy and it made me thankful that the Barefoot program doesn't have a quota!

Allison is doing great. I worry some that she is showing no interest in crawling (at 7 1/2 months old) but she is a very good roller and can get wherever she wants very quickly just by rolling there! It's amazing to see how fast she moves! The eczema on her face seems to have magically cleared itself up! She has a few dry patches near her ears and a red spot under her chin but she doesn't have any more red, scaly patches on her cheeks and forehead! It feels like a miracle!

I'll leave you with a couple pictures of Allison doing her thing and I promise to be a better blogger this week!

Watching the season finale of Glee... Allie was so into it! She loves music and gets so happy when they start singing and dancing! lol

It is rare to see Allison in this position - looking like she's ready to crawl. She much prefers being on her back!

We did our reception at a hotel too and it was really nice with the convienence of it all!!!
Allie is way too cute and don't wish her to crawl to fast. Mia is 8 months and is everywhere and doesn't sit still for a minute!!

Allie is so insanely cute!! My Hendrix is gonna be 8 months this week and he is crawling and pulling himself up everywhere and I wish he would slow down. I can no longer get anything done.

Thanks ladies! I'm pretty nervous about when she does start crawling and I know that she's not really behind. But, I seem to have someone ask me everyday if she's crawling yet and a worry. I guess that's life as a mom :)

Some babies never crawl and go straight to walking! Don't worry about it :)
